Art Workshop: Cyanotype workshop

April 17 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Cyanotype was invented in 1841 by Sir John Herschel and involves using iron salts to make an image with a distinctive Prussian blue colour. Blues can be toned by using tea and other natural substances.

Join Jo Gane in this creative workshop inspired by the visuals of the Portland Vase. This workshop includes a short walk along the canal at the back of the museum. It is suitable for adults and children, but children must be accompanied at all times.

This workshop is a free taster.
