Crafting at the museum: Cyanotype workshop

July 10 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Cyanotype was invented in 1841 by Sir John Herschel and involves using iron salts to make an image with a distinctive Prussian blue colour. Blues can be toned by using tea and other natural substances.

Join Jo Gane in this creative workshop inspired by the visuals of the Portland Vase. This workshop includes a short walk along the canal.

Tickets are £10. Museum entry is included in your workshop ticket. Tea and coffee is included.

This event is suitable for adults and children but children must be accompanied at all times.
