Join us for an exciting Children’s Printmaking Workshop at Stourbridge Glass Museum, run with support from the Royal Society. This creative and educational event is designed for children aged 10 +, offering a unique opportunity to explore the art of mono printing using up cycled materials.

What to Expect:

  • Creative Exploration: Children will learn how to create mono prints using found objects, plants, and other materials combined with drawing techniques to produce textured and unique works of art.
  • Hands-On Learning: Our experienced instructor will guide participants through the printmaking process, encouraging creativity and experimentation.
  • Sustainability Focus: Emphasising the use of upcycled materials, this workshop teaches the importance of recycling and sustainability in art.

Details:

  • Cost: £5 per child (includes museum admission). One accompanying adult per child attends for free.
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Suitability: Children aged 10+

Note: All materials will be provided, water based inks are used. Please ensure children wear clothes suitable for art activities.
