Step into the magic of Christmas at Santa’s Bauble Workshop – a festive, hands-on experience where creativity, glassmaking and a little Christmas sparkle come together. Open to all ages, it’s the perfect opportunity to make something special this Christmas!

This year, we have fewer places available for each session, with places across two workshop dates.

🎄 Create Your Own Handmade Glass Bauble

Every bauble has been specially made by Allister Malcolm Glass and his team. Each one is unique, made locally and helps to keep the region’s glassmaking heritage alive. You’ll have the opportunity to transform yours into a beautiful Christmas decoration to treasure for years to come.

While you’re exploring the museum, keep your eyes peeled for our children’s Christmas Scavenger Hunt in the galleries. It’s a fun way for younger visitors to discover more about the museum and its fascinating glassmaking collections.

1. 🎅 Meet Santa and choose your handmade glass bauble.
2. 🎨 Decorate your bauble in the Elves’ Workshop.
3. ❄️ Watch as the elves sandblast your bauble, or leave it with them and collect it a little later, to create a frosty finish.
4. 💫 Have your bauble hand-engraved with a name or date by Terri-L. Colledge.
5. 🔎 Take part in our children’s Christmas Scavenger Hunt in the galleries.
6. 🌟 Explore Stourbridge Glass Museum and discover the region’s remarkable glassmaking heritage.
7. 🎁 Take your finished bauble home, ready to treasure.

We love seeing families, friends and visitors of all ages coming together to make something special at Christmas. Every ticket sold helps raise vital funds for the charity that supports Stourbridge Glass Museum, helping to preserve the region’s world-renowned glassmaking heritage for future generations. We are delighted that our Bauble Workshop is supported by The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers and The Glass Society.

Workshop sessions run between 10:30am and 3:30pm, with 3:30pm being the final session.

£28 per bauble ticket

Due to limited space, accompanying adult admission is restricted to two per bauble ticket. Please note that accompanying adults do not take part in the bauble decoration activity. All workshop tickets include admission to Stourbridge Glass Museum for the day.

Please make sure you select the correct date and session when booking. Unfortunately, we are unable to transfer bookings to another session or workshop date. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event date only. After this, we are unable to offer refunds.
