Join us at Stourbridge Glass Museum for a fun and creative workshop exploring the art of lino printing. Be inspired by the museum’s collection to create your own beautiful lino print artworks.

Local artist Holly Wardale will guide you through the process of making a linocut print, starting with the basics of mark making and using print making tools. You’ll learn how to transfer your design onto the lino block, carve the block to create your image, and finally print your design by hand without the use of a press.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced print maker looking to expand your skills. All materials will be provided, including lino blocks, carving tools, ink, paper, and refreshments to keep you fuelled throughout the afternoon.

Not only will you create a beautiful linocut print to take home, but you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the techniques and materials used in this traditional printing method. Whether you’re interested in creating art or just looking for a relaxing and creative way to spend a Sunday afternoon, this workshop is the perfect way to unwind and a be creative.
